Story Outline: My take on the Cutie Re-Mark

The finale of season 5 always bothered me for a few reasons. First off, this show sucked at redemption arcs. No villain should have a complete face turn in just one episode, and they did it to at least three characters. They tried to backpedal on it with Discord by still having him torment Twilight, but it still wasn't handled as well as it should have been. Secondly, They brought in all of

    Unfinished Stories, Outlines, and Summaries.

I've been a member of this fandom since the hiatus between seasons 1 and 2, and I've started numerous fics over the years. Keyword: started. I know what stories I want to tell, but executing those ideas has never been my strong point. I have a number of WIP fics and story outlines that I don't think I'm ever going to finish, and they've just been rotting in my google drive for some time now.

    Story Outline: Re: Rainbow Factory

The idea for this one came to me while I was updating a youtube playlist of some old favorite MLP fan music; in particular Rainbow Factory and its two sequels, Awoken and Pegasus Device. It occurred to me that the lyrics of Rainbow Factory don't really make much sense, so I tried writing some additional lyrics, and as I did so, I got to thinking about the original Rainbow Factory fanfiction and

Unfinished story concept: The Harbingers in Ponyville

I think I wrote this while going for the achievements in The Binding of Isaac. I decided to read up on some of the imagery in the game and the stories from which it was derived. That led to this.

    Rated T for violence.

    The Harbingers in Ponyville

When the Harbingers came to ponyville, Celestia collected all of the other Alicorns, as they were the only ponies meant to survive.

    Story Outline: Doctor Whooves

When I wrote this outline, I was going through a phase where I was obsessed with Doctor Who, as a friend had introduced me to the series earlier that year. Compared to the other unfinished works I've posted, this one is much easier to sit through, though I did ship two characters that I had no business shipping.

Suppose a human cosmonaut crash landed on Equestria. Upon meeting the ponies, it instantly becomes clear that there is a language and cultural barrier. Though the human is able to breathe the air, he or she must repair their ship, and needs the ponies' help to do so. How does the human communicate their situation? I asked a friend of mine, and he gave me some information allegedly from NASA.

First, the intelligence test. The human should immediately convey the following message: .. ... ..... ....... ........... ............. ................. ...................

The sequence consists of the first eight prime numbers; 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19

Once intelligence has been established, it should be followed up with this sequence: . . .. ... ..... ........ ............. .....................

This sequence is a demonstration of our numerical system. 1+1=2, 1+2=3, 2+3=5, 3+5=8, 5+8=13, 8+13=21, and so forth.

Once the second sequence has been conveyed, the next thing that should be done is convey what the act of pointing means.

The question I pose to you, my fellow bronies is this: where do we go from there. How do we go from numerical sequences and pointing, to active communication between the two parties? I challenge you to write a fic demonstrating this situation, it's potential solution, and/or any mishaps that might result from a failed attempt. keep in mind that everything from words to body language can have different meanings to different peoples. what one person considers a casual gesture, another might consider rude or offensive.
