I made a pretty nice choice and decided to buy Stellaris and let me tell you, this game is the shit! I've got a thing for strategy games and this game definitely delivers. Because it allows for so much customization, I decided it would be a good idea to make this:
I initially wanted this 'campaign' to be its own story on the site, but the more I thought about it, the more I struggled with how I'd write a sequential and cohesive story based on a game that'd be a few hundred years in length. Instead, I figured I could just update progress on the game through the site's blog system and events that happen in the game that I'd be comfortable turning into a fic I could just post on their own, linking them to the appropriate blog. I don't really know how I'll format the blog entries or anything or if anyone would care to read them, but it'll be something to do when I hit a bit of a stump on The Harmony Initiative. Either way, it's more of something for me than it is anything else and I'll probably pump out a few one shots or just short stories based off this game.
Speaking of, like usual, there'll probably be an update for THI on mid-late Sunday or Monday.
