Hyperloop! · 4:04am Apr 8th, 2017
So I was on Google just searching up random things when I came across this. Hyperloop. What a hyperloop is, is it's a transit system that has a long tube going from one location to another, and humans (or cargo) get put into pods, which are more like cylindrical train carriages that are levitating via a shit ton of magnets that make it was physically nothing. Then, there are two fans like things on either side of the tube that suck and blow. Now all jokes aside these tubes would create enough pressure (basically 1 pound of air could push these pods) to speed the pods up to 700 MPH+ (1126 KPH+) and you wouldn't even feel it! Hyperloops are already in creation, as there is a smaller scale one in the Nevada desert somewhere (called the DevLoop) that is just waiting for human tests. One of these hyperloops could take a person from New York City, New York to Los Angeles, California in 45 minutes (at least that what's Elon Musk says (Elon Musk is the "inventor" of the hyperloop)) when via driving with no breaks, traffic, or weather conditions it would take 40+ hours, or via flying it would take 5 hours and 25 minutes! And don't worry about expenses as a ticket for a ride would cost the same amount as a bus ticket. A trip from New York City, New York to London, England would be taken under the ocean! If anyone reads this then please comment how you feel about this! I believe that this will change traveling as a whole! No one will need to take planes as the hyperloop would cost less and be quicker! Driving long distances are forever changed! No more ugly interstate highways dotting the landscape! The hyperloop runs off of little power, as the natural power of magnets and air pressure are the only things that will need power, besides the actual pod! Roads and highways cost as much as 15 trillion to repair, while these will cost as low as $250, cause all you need is steel bars and that's basically it! Goodbye, 20+ hour road trips and hello 40-minute trips cross country!
