Personal Self-Discovery / "Coming out". · 6:19am Mar 4th, 2017
Might as well get this over and done with.
(I already posted this on Facebook and Deviant-Art, but I thought I'd share it here too, to get it fully out everywhere)
After doing lots of thinking (and by that I mean the last few years), I've come to the conclusion,
I no longer identify as 100% male. Instead, I identify as PHYSICALLY male,
but mentally gender-fluid (meaning, I have both male and female tendencies and interests,
and sometimes feel more feminine that masculine). I still want to use male pronouns,
such as He, Him, His, and so on, but I want you all to know
that I also DO sometimes feel, in my mind, more feminine...
Which also explains my liking of nail polishes, my recent interest in makeup and drag shows, and so on.
Also, in case you don't know, here's a Wiki quote on the subject:
"Gender fluid is a gender identity which refers to a gender which varies over time.
A gender fluid person may at any time identify as male, female, neutrois, or any other non-binary identity,
or some combination of identities. Their gender can also vary at random or vary in response to different circumstances.
Gender fluid people may also identify as multigender, non-binary and/or transgender.Gender fluid people who feel that the strength of their gender(s) change(s) over time,
or that they are sometimes agender, may identify as gender flux."
In other words, it simply means, sometimes I feel more female than male due to my various interests,
some of which are considered more "female" (such as makeup, as I mentioned above).
Now, if anyone has questions, feel free to ask.
If not, I do NOT want a big deal out of this,
I'm still the same person, I've just made a personal discovery,
and I want to just keep going as before.
And, as I said - I still want to be referred to by male pronouns,
I am not changing my gender to female or anything like that.
I'm still male, just not 100%.
So to clarify:
I identify as what I call "Male Body, Fluid Mind". well, minus my painted nails, those express my "gay" side which I also have,
since I'm pan-romantic and pan-sexual.
