This is a new blog series where I would compare different characters or races form different mediums. I will compare them in many ways such as: Design, personality, role in show etc. Today I will be comparing different fictional races: Time lords and Gems.
(Time Lords are form Doctor Who while Gems are form Steven Universe.)
Time Lords and Gems similarities: Both are an alien race with a from similar to that of a human. They both have the power to regenerate if body is damaged heavily. They also can live for thousands of years because of it. Time Lords and Gems also have developed extremely advanced technology like space travel.
Differences: While Time Lords have a physical from, Gems don't and are made of light (kind of like a hologram with mass). Also Gems have the ability to shape shift and summon weapons through their gems. Another difference is that Gems have colorful skin that can be blue or even pink while Time Lords have the tannish skin. One more major difference is that when Time Lords regenerate they gain a completely different look and gain a new personality while Gems don't change that much.
The Doctor and the Crystal Gems similarities: The Doctor and The Crystal Gems both are Aliens who protect the Earth. They also have a fondness and love for humans ( especially Rose and The Doctor). They both also have experienced war.
