    Her Sentence as a Pony

I went with the executive decision to just finish Book One of Her Sentence as a Pony and start on Book Two. Book Two will be my main focus going forward. Book Two will have some chapters that flashback to a time where Shade, Princess Celestia, and Princess Luna fought side by side during key times, e.g. Discord's first defeat and Sombra's first defeat.

Her Sentence as a Pony rewrite

I’m planning to rewrite Her Sentence as a Pony because it has gone completely off what I planned.

    Or

Should I just finish what I have thought of for it and write an new story as an alternate to HSaaP?

    Not a Junkyard (Story Idea)

Another day, another bit—hopefully more than a bit’s wage. If your boss had their way they would pay you a bit a day. Lousy cheapskate. You work on your hooves all day, smile at all the rude ponies, and manage to keep your growing anger in check. The same thing keeps popping into your mind everyday at work: “Is it worth it?” Unfortunately, how today’s society revolves around capitalism, one must

    Hello...

Sorry for the unannounced hiatus. I have just been swamped with work and life. I plan on writing and updating at irregular intervals as work and life are a priority.

I haven’t even had time to game much! I am slowly becoming a normie!

    Halp!

"It is a monster; we have to kill it."
"Even if we don't kill it and decide to lock the place up, it will die a slow death."
"Death is mercy for that pitiful creature."
"What? No! We can't kill it her. We all saw and read her history." Shade turned from her party and looked at the massive creature of skin and bones.
The wretched, dirty, mass of black matted fur the size of a house stared at Shade with small, beady black eyes. Its rat like muzzle and nose twitched.
"It has killed hundred of innocent people," Twilight informed. She sank her giant two-handed sword into the ground and leaned on the grip.
Applejack took off her Stetson and ran a hand through her long, blonde hair. "What happened to it was sad, but it ain't a person no more, Shade."
"It is sad," Fluttershy added, "but it has to be done."
Shade takes ten steps forward, the plates of her mail scraped against each other, and the chain mail jingled with every step. She did an about face and addressed her "friends."
"If I can't protect all of them, I can at least protect the ones I can. They just want to wallow in their misery alone and peacefully. 'Hunters' are sent to bother them just because a stupid, scared Human sees one trying to feed itself."
Shade takes the circle shield off her back and plants it into the ground. She stepped over it and continued, "I am sick and tired of Humans thinking they are better than everything. Thinking that the world is theirs alone." Shade unsheathed her sword from her hip.
"You would honestly choose those monsters over your friends?!" Twilight said as she took a battle stance. She picked up her sword and swung it over her head.
"Now, let's not be too hasty here," Applejack voiced her concern. She took a couple of steps back.
"Yes!" Fluttershy agreed, "We don't want to hurt you, Shade."
"Right. There is no way you, a minor C rank, can defeat us, three major A rank Hunters." Twilight spoke.
Shade stepped towards Fluttershy, "Can't you see they just want to live in peace? We can still help them."
Fluttershy slumped her shoulders. "I- I'm sorry, Shade. This monster is responsible for Sweetie Belle's death."
Shade tossed her hand back at her shield. The shield lights up with a golden aura which expands to shield the monster. Shade slipped the silver bracelet off of her wrist and tossed it to the ground. "No, Fluttershy. Don't be." Shade smiled sadly and lunged at Fluttershy.
Shade swiped Twilight's sword away, and Applejack's bullets ricocheted off Shade's plate armor. Fluttershy did not have time to react, her life flashed before her eyes, and a tear ran down her cheek when Shade impaled her through her diaphragm.
Shade laid Fluttershy down on the ground with tears welled up in her eyes. She took no pride, no joy, no satisfaction as she stared at Fluttershy's gasping face. Shade had kissed Fluttershy's forehead before she stood to fight her other friends.
Twilight roared and charged at Shade in a ball of purple flame. Shade steeled herself and ignored the bullets that bounced off her plate and bit into her chain. Shade grabbed Twilight's blade which stopped the warrior in her tracks. Shade twisted the blade out of Twilight's grip, rammed Twilight's exposed gut with the pummel, and smashed the flat of the blade into Twilight's face. Twilight reeled back; she remembered too late that Shade might have been a low-rank Hunter but Shade was number one in the Hunter vs. Hunter arena.
Shade staggered back as a bullet bounced off her half helm. Applejack was starting to get on her nerves. Shade rolled and dodged to close the gap between her and Applejack. Applejack rolled out of the way of Shade's swing, and Shade fell to the ground being blasted by a grenade.
Shade got to her knee but a heel collided with the side of her helmet which sent it off her head. Shade blocked the second kick and spun on her foot to trip Twilight. Shade stuck out her hand and put up a golden shield fast enough to block the barrage of bullets shot by Applejack.
Applejack dropped a smoke bomb to disorient Shade which gave her enough time to reload her revolvers. When the smoke started to clear, Applejack pointed her guns at Shade's last location and only saw Twilight. They exchanged shocked expressions. Clang!
Shade crashed down behind Applejack. Shade pulled the blade out from between Applejack's legs and stood up just as Applejack's body fell apart in two.
Twilight gaped in horror.
"Hopefully," Shade spoke in a dark voice; her eyes glowed as she stared at Twilight, "Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, and Rarity will see reason."
Twilight fell to her knees and slumped her head down. She accepted her fate. "I knew something like this would happen one day. You always were stronger than me."
Shade held the sword above her head and stood beside Twilight. "And you. Always thinking you are right and not taking the time to think until it is too late. I always hated your arrogance." With her two cents spoken, Shade swung the sword down and lobbed off Twilight's head.
