Christmas Car Karma

Well, that happened.

Went home for a week between Christmas and New Year and had a fantastic time with my folks and the few friends who were also back around the old hometown. Drove back to my place (next state over) without issue yesterday and then tried to go to dinner.

Dead car. Really dead car: check engine light, engine won't rev over 3000 rpm and the torque was nothing. Then it fails to turn over again after I shut it off. Murphy decided my holidays were too good so he decided to sic his law on me to even things out.

Now I'm sitting at the local Mazda dealership hoping the apex seals on my car's rotary engine haven't given up the ghost. A new car would (almost) be cheaper than taking apart the rotors to replace them. On the bright side it's giving me plenty of time to work on Mirror while waiting to see if it's going to be an arm and a leg to fix the problem. New chapter should be going up much sooner than expected lol.
