My personal favorites of the holiday season · 5:51am Dec 22nd, 2016
Music, that is. These are the Christmas songs I could listen to all day and still not be tired of them. In some cases, I have actually done this. I listened to Siberian Sleigh Ride on a two or three hour loop the other day.
I’m a sucker for good 80’s song, and this next one happens to be my favorite from the decade. Christmas Wrapping just has a certain kind of charm to it that makes it hard not to smile every time the intro starts up.
Straight No Chaser is best acapella. Fact. Listen to the truth in their harmonization.
This next one is an incredibly underrated song, by an equally underrated artist. I’ve only heard it played a few times before on Sirius XM and nowhere else.
South Park has some goodies, but this next one is far and away my favorite Christmas song of the show.
The Polar Express will always hold a special place in my heart, and Believe is nothing short of beautiful.
Pentatonix, of course.
I’ll end on a relatively new cover of a classic I love. This version is just so serene and peaceful. If one word could embody it, that word would be hope.
