Attempting to start a Fan-Fiction.

Hello everyone that comes across my wall, or otherwise! Glad you could stop by; please, take a seat here, here or here! Alright, everyone have a seat? Fantastic! Now, just before I forget, the fire-exits are in their separate corners, along with extra-emergency Fire Extinguishers and Pinkie-Pie Alarms. Please, keep your hands, arms, feet, hooves, talons, beaks, mouths, manes, or any other unlisted part of your body to yourselves while we listen to this lecture. Alright, everyone at a seat? Yes? No? Too bad! Let's get this started.

Now, hello everyone; from gentlemen to gentlecolts, to ladies to.... well... lady-mares, I suppose? Or is it just mares? Bah, that's besides the point of why we're all here today! Now, the true reason why we're here, is because this is my first -actual- blog post on all of Fimfiction.net! Yaaaaay!

But in all seriousness, I created this for a specific reason.

I have been considering creating a fan-fiction story, based on either a natural Original Character, or a Human in Equestria scenario. Now, I know personally that I am not the -greatest- of writers - or typers in this case - and hope to actually draw in some aid from the community, and mostly anyone that simply peaks at my page. Truthfully, I don't have much experience what so ever, except for the few failed attempts I have had been writing stories to myself in my alone time during a summer vacation, though the mass majority are immensely far-fetched, nor even pony related. So here I am, asking the community itself, for some assistance!

Question one! If I decide to not do a Human in Equestria, I have full-heartedly decided to rather ignore running into the Mane Six. Although I have watched every episode of My Little pony, and no matter how many times I read fan-fictions, the only character I can truly seem to get down is Fluttershy to any point; mostly because it's easy to be a shy, nervous person who becomes enraged beyond all belief when her friends are in trouble, or more importantly, animals. I think I would manage to go with the off-set, background or side characters. What do you guys thing?

Question two! If I decide to do a HiE fanfic, how should I enter? Truthfully, I doubt that I would do a... 'Wild Brony Fan gets teleported to MLP Universe all lucky and happy and gets to hang out with best pony Luna!', no. It's too... Come on. The last being to know everything about the ponies was Discord, and he was turned to stone, even though he kind of ensued chaos... But the point is, he might seem like a threat, and plus, he's a new creature. Not to mention, I picture MLP as slightly edited for child viewers; there are hassels, mild racism (Donkeys, Gryphons, even sometimes amongst the different types of Ponies, and Zebras. Its natural), and maybe minor violence. No like... OhMahGodBloodIsEverywhereMyNeckIsGone violence.
I could even make a bit of a spin of a sort-of Alternate Universe to where he's dropped somewhere outside of Equestria, and all he tries to do is to see Ponyville before he meets his doom, in which case, I would bring in the scenario of "Brony/Human-Tricked-Into-Equestria-Without-Proper-Information". But yeah!
