Hi, I’m Atlas, and I’m Calypso, and we are Atlantis Productions!
I believe that I have a talent. A talent for creating worlds, heroes, and villains. A talent for making them come to life. A talent for writing stories. A talent that I believe could change the world if I use it correctly.
I love fantasy and science fiction. Always have, always will. I wish to be one of the greats. C.S. Lewis, J.K. Rowling, Rick Riordan, Alexander Dumas, Roald Dahl, etc. I know my ambitions are high, but I am persistent. I am always trying to find ways of improving my craft. I am an artist, and stories are my art.
I came into this fandom late into season 5. At first, it was just to see what everyone loved about the show so much. The first episode I ever watched was “Feeling Pinkie Keen”, and I liked it. I kept watching episode after episode, and by the time “The Cutie Re-mark” premiered, I was a proud Brony and had watched most of the episodes.
Now, some of you may know that a while back, I advertised a project that I was starting. Well, that project has become my greatest story yet.
Ladies and gentlemen, as a tribute to the show that inspires us all, I present to you: Spellbound!
“Spellbound” is a story of epic proportions. Taking place in a sci-fi/fantasy mix, humanized alternate universe, the story has plenty of comedic, dramatic, and even downright dark moments sprinkled throughout.
And of course, what sort of alternate universe fanfiction would it be without substantial world-building. There are many races that inhabit Spellbound’s universe, not just Humans. And then there’s the system of how magic works, which is in and of itself quite complicated.
My point is, I’ve put a lot of work into this story in a matter of only a few months and have already created a world that I am proud of.
And perhaps if it gets enough likes, and I get enough followers, I will put my Youtube channel to good use and make it into a dramatic reading, and maybe even an audio drama.
I hope you all enjoy reading Spellbound as much as I enjoyed creating it.
