Okay, this is the companion blog to DOE chapter 5, because some things need explaining. Mainly the frequent use of the term "Districts". I know the rule of "Show don't tell" applies heavily here, but I couldn't fully explain this concept in-story without it looking and sounding out-of-place and cumbersome. If you just want to jump into DOE chapter 5 and onward with little reading, here's the tl;dr version.

The super rich people live in the core, which is made of the North and South districts, and the less-rich and poor people live in the outer rim, which is made of the East and West districts.
Longer version:
Each district specializes in something: North is elite business, South is elite entertainment, East is middle and lower class business, and West is middle and lower class industry. The east and west districts are divided by several different border gates, which were originally meant to stop illegal workers, but were later re-purposed to serve as guard outposts to maintain security between the districts during times of unrest.
Now, about the latest chapter.
Chapter 5 took around 10 hours to make, start-to-finish, so I hope you like it. A surprising portion of that time is editing (1-2 hours), and fixing mishaps and small errors in the story. This took more time the usual though, due to Google Docs import being broken. All of my bold tags get reversed, and my center align tags apply to everything for some reason. Because of this, I decided to just put in the formatting code myself, and copy-paste. I hated it. If there is a better way to do this, please let me know.
Next DOE chapter might be a ways off, as I have another one-shot in mind that I want to start on.
