I Finally figured it out!

For a long time now, I have wondered and searched for the components for something every author has on this site.

Without further a due, here is the grand plan for my oc. (May change details yet, this is a rough draft.)

Name: Ashen Spectre

Race: Unicorn

Sex: Male

Body color: ivory white

Eye color: green

Mane color: dark grey, speckled with ash. The mane itself is wild and unconstrained by anything, kinda like Ryoma's hair from Fire Emblem Fates.

Cutie Mark: a green serpents eye on the blade of a knife, surrounded by a purple aura. The eye and purple aura represents his knowledge on the dark arts, and his talent of using his keen eyesight to spot anything, be it the truth (by "reading" a pony) or finding a hidden enemy. The knife symbolizes what he loves to do; throw throwing knives at targets, and the occasional monster.

Hobbies: practicing throwing his throwing knives, knife collecting, reading, practicing the dark arts, collecting eldritch tomes, stargazing, loves to listen to orchestral music and orchestral remixes of popular songs.

Occupation: Was formerly employed in the same organization that Sweetie Drops worked for, and was noted for his rather "enthusiastic" way of hunting monsters down with his knives. Was fired from the royal guard after sending his captain to the hospital in a knife fight. He has since opened a stall in the market to sell various herbs and such that he finds in the wild, and various magical crystal good-luck charms he calls "starlight crystals."

Home: the outskirts of Canterlot, in a small, simple cabin.

Backround: he grew in Baltimare under parents that loved him dearly, and he was a very obedient colt. A street gang thug took the lives of his parents. He was also later evicted from his home and put in an orphanage. He broke out. After that, he was forced to steal, bully, and even kill to survive the city's underworld. The only comfort he would find was in the darkness of night, when he could see the only lights in his life, the stars. He developed his dark magics after he discovered a copy of the Quod Sacra Tenebrae, in the sewers underneath Baltimare. He would use these dark powers to avenge his parents.
His interest in knives began with a pocket knife, the only belonging he still had that was a gift from his mother and father.

Favorite Food: Dark chocolate

Other Usless Facts: can hold his breathe for fifteen seconds, cannot go cross-eyed, somehow related to a prestigious griffin clan in Griffinstone. Also has a crush on Octavia.
