Hello everypony!
Just wanted to take a moment to say a massive thank you to everyone who has thus far commented, rated and read my first FiM Fic (and, in fairness, my first fan fic at all). My short time on this site and the fantastic 350 views it has currently gotten have overwhelmed me. This is a great response and I am deeply grateful to you all for taking the time to read, and hopefully enjoy, this mild foray into FiM Fiction.
I had initially intended to try and get each chapter out within three days of the previous one, but sadly I have been unable to attain that goal thanks to some issues being dealt with here at the moment, but, if you are wondering, I assure you the rest is on the way. Chapter Five is almost complete and the beginnings of Chapter Six have started to form before me, so they shall be available soon, depending upon how things go here, of course.
I would also like to thank those good enough to give me a critical response to this work, without your input I cannot get better as a writer, so if you do have any criticisms of anything I do, please feel free to comment and let me know. I know my style of writing can seem archaic at times, so some things probably won't change, but those that are on a number of your minds I will endeavour to deal with. The whole point of this exercise is to get me in the proper swing of things for my future, as I am currently working on a novel that I intend to get published. Fan Fiction is something I am trying as an exercise in proper writing, giving me the opportunity to craft a story out of characters and settings I have not fully created myself, allowing me more focus on story than development (I know, it's kind of a cheat, but it's practice).
Please keep up the good work and I shall do so in turn!
