Just in case anyone is only here for the stories you should be warned,
Knighty or one of the Admins: Time to clear some things up. A couple of nights ago, Fimfiction was hacked. Said hackers were able to gain many users hashed passwords. If you visited a users page and saw it looking odd, then they likely have your hash assuming you were logged in. Thankfully the stories and what not in the database were not touched, other than a single story, and it's backed up regularly in 2 places in case it ever was. But I'm sure you're all more worried about your passwords. If you are concerned about your password being hacked, you should change your password anywhere else you use it. Although the passwords are hashed, it is possible with enough time and computing power to unhash them especially if you have a simple password. I apologise immensely for this, it was very much an error on my part.
And..
What does this mean for those of us who are absolutely terrible with technology and understood none of that?
7985 The site was violated and some password information may or may not have been taken, to be safe you should probably change your password if you use it for other sites that hold your personal information.
