The great thing about fanfiction

I was chatting with one of my friends about the trailers for the new Equestria Girls movie when I thought about something. He was mad at the fact they were shipping Twilight to another character in the EG universe instead of using Flash Sentry. That's when I realized the great thing about fanfiction, its your own story. Fanfiction is a story you write not someone else, so you can do whatever you want with it. You can write it about anything from shippings that are practically canon to crack ships no one has ever thought of before. You can set in the canon universe or make it the most far out AU you could imagine, even parodying another series. The setting can be as far back into the past or far, far into the future, in Equestria or your own home. It doesn't matter, everything is written by you and you have complete control over everything. Sure, with a website this your large you could have critics, but they're is always gonna be at least a few people who like it. Fanfiction is limitless, anything is possible, and no one can tell you what to do. That is what I like about fanfiction.
