Story Idea

Hey Munchkins! I have a story idea that I wish I could do but my writing skill isn't really on the level I wish it would be. So here it is, a character of your choosing is sent to a death game kinda like the Hunger Games and Battle royal but on a larger scale. The contestants are randomly chosen by small probes that bury themselves in the contestant's shoulder (the contestants will also have metal collars on) and carving a number in between 1 to 1000 as there are 1000 contestants. They are then teleported via magic stored inside the probes to a large floating island (location is your choosing) that is filled with broken down buildings and a forest that spans the entire island, with small bodies of fresh water scattered across as well. After two days of the game four psycho killers that are not contestants will be put in to shorten the contestant count, they can be killed however. When ten contestants are left then it will trigger a battle royal and the last one standing wins. The only necessary sub-plot is Celestia, Luna, and the main six (If one of these is a contestant then they will not be part of this sub-plot). That is difficult to do though because if an unregistered pony (or person if you decide to make this a human story) steps on the island than all the probes detonate killing the contestants.
