First Albeit Very Late Blog Post

Hello all,
This is my very first blog post. I am rather unsure of why I waited so long to do this. I am sure, however, that it had something to do with being busy, or the very off-chance that any of you will try to attack me through my computer, which I am almost positive that you won't considering all of the extremely nice users that I have interacted with thus far. I am not sure if anyone will take the time to read this, I won't blame you if you don't as I am sure my insignificant ramblings are just that, insignificant. If you have somehow found yourself here reading this, I thoroughly appreciate it. I don't know what others have done for their first blog posts, therefore mine will probably be on the more awkward side, kind of like me.
So let us get to the point, my reasoning behind joining this website. For whatever reason or another, I was drawn to this show intended for a much younger audience. I assume my amusement for the show is my mind's attempt to cling to a small bit of childhood as I was required to mature much quicker than most. I am a female high-school student, who aspires to become a publisher (but that is subject to change). I joined this website after discovering what a warm, accepting group was involved with it. I hope that I can form friendships with some of you out there during my time here. I also hope that I can better myself as a writer by reading other's stories and by receiving advice by those of you willing to dish it out.
Now that we've gotten everything important out of the way, I would like to say thank you if you have made it this far. I don't know yet if or when I will post again. It really all depends on all of your responses and my schedule (which should be relatively empty now that school is out for summer).
