Why things take forever and a day with me...

Okay, so this is a repost from an earlier blog post. Made the mistake of deleting it because it looked like there were two copies of the same post and thought I had reposted it by mistake.

Some of you may be wondering why I have not updated much. To which I would reply "Do you have to time to listen? Because it's gonna be a minute."

So, as you guys know, it's going on two years since the last time e I posted anything for Straggler. I do apologize, I would have liked to be more consistent, but things have not accordingly. I'm going to let you you know up front what is going on as best I can.

First, is school. Things are winding down now, and I'm at that point now where I'm starting to think about what it is I want to do once I'm out for good or at least until I decide to go back for another major or graduate study. This has been stressing me out for a good minute couple that with a lot of unnecessary drama and I have hit a major stint in terms of fan work and productivity. Thankfully, the summer is coming up, I get a few months to breathe and get myself organised. At least that's the plan. Here's hoping that things work out enough to pull it off.

Second, is probably the main reason why chapters came out so slowly before the above mentioned problems. My brain likes to work in five or six directions at any given time, some times productive, most times completely unnecessarily. Because of this, my attention splits very easily. So enough dancing around the bush here it is. I am writing a book series. A long book series. I have no idea when I will be done with, but it is some thing I plan on commuting a decent chunk of time to. Next I am writing play scripts. I am a Theatre guy after all. And finally, I am doing Let's Plays on YouTube now. These are the big three things that I am putting a good chunk of my time towards for now. That is not to say I am not still working on other fan projects, but for now, I am devoting my time to writing and YouTube. At least until I get to a point in time where inhave a good enough rythm with each one that I can still do fan work; especially considering that fan work has always been a way for me to unwind and I would like to keep it that way so I can still do fun things. I am currently splitting my time between Fan Fiction and FiM Fiction and I don't wan to neglect either. Especially I started on FanFic, and unless I have forgotten to do so, the info for my other channels should be in my profile, if not, I'll rectify that when I get a chance.

And finally, the other reason why Straggler has been on the back-burner. I have been debating three other series. Some of whihc I have written material for, none of whihc I have posted or plan to post until Straggler gets back on track.

The first two are Anthro series. I have a few stuff written for one idea and nothing for the second. As it stands, not currently doing anything with either one.

The third, and possibly the main hold-up, is that I have been putting some effort into a Persona Equestria Girls series. I have about three chapters for this one, but I am debating whether to have Flash as a protagonist, since I don't see many that use him, Sunset, or Twilight. Currently I am writing as though Flash is thepritagonist, might stick with it until I have some justification for the other choices.

And that's about it. Between stressing about school and future prospects in life and trying to get back into the swing of writing, I have essentially put myself in a mental corner. I am working on Straggler, but I am going to need time to properly work on it.

In the mean time, as per the other ideas for MLP related stories, which one would you like to see run parallel with Straggler? I am interested to know for whenever I get around to them.
