For those of you not in the know, I work retail- in a card store no less- so as holidays get nearer, my free time shrinks. So I don’t have that chapter update of The Last Unicorn Princess ready, nor do I think I will be done by next weekend. I’ll try to post it before February ends.
Sorry sorry sorry, I don’t have the next chapter of The Last Unicorn Princess ready to post- although I’m sure longtime followers kind of expected this of me. 
I had a lot more real-life responsibilities come up that made juggling my projects all the more difficult- but I will post the next chapter- with illustrations- next Sunday.

Hi all! Lookie here, I’m updating this blog, just I said I would. YAY! 
So, BABScon was fun! I’ve been going to the Convention since it’s founding year in 2014, and since that almost always falls on Easter weekend I haven’t been able to go all three days ‘cause Easter is a busy time for the greeting card/gift store I work at. Previous years I got to get my badge Friday morning and spend the entire Sunday there (because Saturday is always more busy than that Sunday). I was so happy to see it wasn’t going to be on Easter Weekend this year! On non-holidays I don’t usually work weekends, so I didn’t think I’d even need to reserve the date.
Big Mistake. Unknowing to me, my boss planned a vacation for herself that exact weekend, and I was only able to go by switching swifts with a co-worker friend of mine. 
So, I got to pick up my badge Friday morning before my afternoon shift, and spend my first Saturday at BABScon- but no Sunday.
I’ve always wanted to see the Pony Cosplay contest, and since that was always on Saturday I made it a priority to see it this year. I think I’ve been spoiled by FanimeCon’s Masquerade, because at FanimeCon most of the Cosplayers perform little skits in addition to showing off the costumes, and at BABScon they only walk across the stage- very fast. There was a group of Mane Six Jedi I wanted a closer look at, but they turned off they lights to show off their glowing light sabers and walked off the stage before the lights turned on. UGH!

Also got to see Pony Voice Actors panel, Lauren Faust panel, Toasty Writers panel and IloveKimPossibleALot panel, all which was fun! Maybe it was a tiny bit lonely, as I was attending BABScon by myself. I always come to these things with the intention of making friends, but it’s much easier for my socially anxious self to hide behind my Nintendo 3S using street passes for entertainment. Don’t get me wrong, the Bronies and Pegasisters there are friendly, I’ve just never been good at making friends. 
I spent some of my downtime taking pictures of my new 3DE Rarity & AJ plush, which I’ll link back to this entry later with my other BABScon pictures. There’s isn’t a lot- I’m reverse-camera shy too!
This is an awfully long entry, so I’ll talk about Season 6 next Saturday.
