Author's mussings part 1

Let this be a warning for all the writers.

A couple months ago I have started writting a plan for a fiction. It was progressing fairly well until I got to the relationship part. When I tried to make the fall in love with each other I realized they hardly know anything about each other.

I thought maybe it was not nearly as bad as I suspected before I went on the internet and looked up how to write an oc. There I found that I haven't really thought about the characters themselves I just wanted to hook them up.

When I read all the stuff I wrote prior to that I couldn't believe how stupid and awkward it seemed.

Tl:dr - First think about the relationships you want to have and how they develop before you start writing the main plot.
