Apparently the rollerskating dolls (Sunny Flare, Lemon Zest, Pinkie Pie, Rarity) were released a while ago, but since the Friendship Games dolls had been doing really poorly most stores don't stock them. 
I had my heart set on getting at least Sunny and Lemon Zest. In my opinion, they're the best of the entire EG line! Does anyone know how I can get them? They're still not availible on Amazon and I really really really want them!

I hope I'm not being cynical or anything, but I believe the main reason why the EG toy line is doing poorly is because Hasbro can never get into the habit of making their products visually accurate to the animated characters.
I'm sure if they would consider that solution: then maybe sales would be way more successful. It's good to know however that you're not judgmental of the products and is a proud collector
. I still remember when I had a small collection of Ben 10 merchandise and action figures.

Have you tried the Hasbro Website? That were I got my Adagio when I couldn't find her in the stores. But, that was because she so popular that they could barely keep up.
All I saw when those series of dolls came out were the four archers in sports gear, and the for roller skating girls in regular clothes. Nothing else. Makes it hard to find a Sunset Shimmer doll from that movie.

When I search Sunny Flare only one doll pops up.

I also think a lack of characters has something to do with it. Monster High and other doll lines have like 50 characters, but the EG line is mostly rehashes of the Mane Seven. Sure, there's six Shadowbolts and the three Dazzlings, but the Dazzlings only got a doll each and like you said, the Shadowbolts' dolls weren't exactly accurate.

I could be wrong anyway since I don't even purchase the dolls. I am a guy anyway so I draw the line at figurines and plushies

Seriously, why does Hasbro have such a hard time making EG dolls of other characters? I've already designed 4 or 5 dolls lines.
