Intermission

"Hey there everypony!" a bright pink mare exclaimed as she positioned herself in front of the camera. Wait... camera?! "Well duh. How else is everypony gonna see me when I tell them the announcement?" She responded to me. Wait I- What the hell?! "Anyway, the author wanted me to tell you all that he's super happy that everypony is liking the story so far! He said that because school has started for him, updates might take a little longer to show up. He also wanted to say that he realized how dry and boring his old writing style was, and that he's gonna make things super action packed and descriptive!" While Pinkie was speaking into seemingly nothing, Luke skidded to a halt rather than continue his charge at Legretta. The God General seemed to be perplexed as well, completely ignoring a perfect opportunity to catch her enemy off guard. "Pinkie, what are you doing?" Luke asked. The pink mare turned from facing an endless patch of trees to address the question, excitement dripping off of every word. "I'm doing an announcement for the story! Oh, but I can't say any spoilers, because that would totally ruin everything! I mean the next chapter is supposed to be a huge fight scene, but I skimmed ahead and saw what happens after that and it's so unexpected and dramatic! Oops! I probably shouldn't have said that!" Luke tilted his head in complete and utter confusion. While Pinkie was a strange pony, this was far beyond anything he could comprehend. "Story? Spoilers? I-I don't even..." The pink mare quickly turned back to face nothingness and continued her speech. "Any who, the author says that he's really thankful for everypony that read, commented, liked, and favorited the story, and that he promises it's gonna be super awesome!" Luke was now trapped in a fog of complete bewilderment and confusion. Without turning to face her, he asked Legretta a simple question. "Five minute break?" Legretta, who had lowered her guns while trying to wrap her mind around the pony's behavior, replied to Luke while keeping her eyes locked on the party pony. "Five minute break." The two enemies walked off together for a brief respite from the nonsensical gibberish uttered by Pinkie. Wait a sec, NONE OF THIS MAKES ANY SENSE! Why would they even consider taking a break together?! "This isn't canon, silly!" Pinkie simply answered. I... forget it...
