A Mother's Thoughts. #1 - Sex Sells.

My word.

I look around and what do I see?

Just about every few steps is a "Sex" story, four out of the ten featured stories are just sex bait.

40% of our front site belongs to well smut, I know each and everyone of us, has the right to write whatever we want.

But I feel soft to hard core porn scenes, some foalcon I remind you, seems to be littering the front for a while now. I just think the site might need some kind of flitter system.

It is perfectly fine to write such stories, but when smut-bait is used simply to monopolize the front page, something has gone wrong. I think perhaps Clop stories should not be allowed to take places on The Featured page, Popular stories I guess is ok.

Just many if not all of these stories, never have a real story, nor do they go over more than a few scenes of sexual satisfaction. If ever a Clop story can give a narrative then they should be allowed. But as it stands, I just think they are in your face fantasy pieces, the main reason they exist is for easy fame claim.

I hope one day the site will fix this, so we can become a story site once more.

Remember the easiest way to victory and fame is not always the best.

Hard work and world building, though ignored at first, might one day find true satisfaction, in a work of art well done.

Alas this is just my two cents.

Some may (hope) agree with me on this, Others will simply be up in arms.

Again though I guess as long as we are writing, how bad can this site really be?
