WHAT THE FLYING FLIP?!?! · 3:07pm Aug 29th, 2012
I update Magi-Tech and turn my back for 5 seconds (read: took a 3 hour walk) and I find it in the Featured Stories Box?!?! Sure, as of now (that is, me typing this blog) it's gone, but still. I DOUBLE the word count and the Favorite count more than TRIPLES (from 30 before Chap 3 to, as of this blog, 96)!!
I'm not sure which is scarier, the fact that I was HALF-ASLEEP when I wrote most of the chapter, or the fact that now I have a reason to put some actual EFFORT (beyond spell-check) into chapter 4 (Revelations and Broken Legs)... and the rest of the story while I'm at it.
I mean, the ONLY things I have planned out (and I use the phrase EXTREMELY loosely) are Rarity's talk with Applejack, and Discord.
The reasons for this are as follows:
1. It's the next scene (Rarity and AJ) and, therefore, must be done next (Thank you Department of Redundancy Department and Captain Obvious)
2. It's the scene that convinced me to write this crap (Discord)
3. I get burnt out on any story if I even TRY to plan it out
Thank you to everyone that made Magi-Tech popular enough to appear in The Box, brief as it was, but for now, I must start clearing out my Read Later List (I'm sitting at 683 stories
). I'll try to get another chapter out soon, but no promises, ESPECIALLY Pinkie Promises!
