    I changed my user name from ReaderRyn to Ytak.
    Been debating it awhile but it "Ytak" is my oldest handle and the same one I like to use on the other fanfic sites I haunt. It just feels right to use it here, too. :)

When I came across Starshine.

I did a double take. No other preexisting pony has made me think so strongly of Celestia. My head-canon wants to incorporate Starshine with her being the pre-ascension Celestia. Her mark is a gold star and the sun is a star. It is not that much of a stretch. Something to think about.
