Q. How many editors does it take to change a lightbulb? · 12:34pm Apr 4th, 2016
A. Only one, but they'll have to rewire the whole house first.
I regret nothing.
Anyway, all joking aside. Hey guys, long time no see. Sorry about the complete lack of updates for... Wow, it's been almost exactly a year now. Anyway, I'm glad to say that my absence hasn't been (entirely) due to me neglecting this account (as of the past month). I have been working on fan fiction things. The Things I'd Never Do is still on hiatus indefinitely (also, whoop whoop, I finally boned up and marked it as such, yay for me), but I have been working on a new story. I have made significant progress with it already, as I have learned my lesson about posting too early.
And, in speaking of learning lessons, I need some help from all of you. Yes you, you small group of fantastic, attractive, highly intelligent fan fiction readers who's time I will never deserve, the small percentage of that small group who will be incredible enough to read this whole post (and please do read the whole thing, it helps). As some of you may guessed by the title of this post, I need you guys to find me an editor (preferably more than one) for an alternate universe, sci-fi pony story.
TTIND was edited entirely by me, and it shows. I did my best to proofread each chapter several times. Lots of you were amazing enough to point out things that I missed. But in the end, I'm first and foremost an artist, then an author, and there's a reason that writing and editing are separate skill sets.
To top it all off, I do 100% of my writing on either my phone or my tablet, both of which lack basic keyboard functions (namely the tab key), and neither of which are even remotely compatable with the Fimfiction interface.
So, sorry about the long-winded post, but for those who stuck around, I need you guys to talk to your editor friends, talk to your editor if you have one yourself, if you are an editor yourself, talk to me. So long as they have a Fimfiction account, and they are willing to do it for free, bring them here.
PM me, comment here (can you even comment on blog posts?) go out, and find me an editor!
And start looking forward to my new story, which will hopefully be posted soon.
