The Theory of Humans are responsible for Equestrian history in My Little Pony Friendship is Magic is fan based, but might actually be truth. You're thinking,“Of course, Humans are responsible for making the show and they tell us the history all the time.” Yes humans did make the show, but what I mean is, “What if Humans actually created the creatures of My Little Pony Friendship is Magic as experiments?” Got you intrigued now didn't I? Okay, so let's get started. Allons-y!

Okay you're probably thinking, “How can Humans and Ponies be related besides Equestria Girls?” Well your answer is in the question. If you guessed Equestria Girls, your right. Your now thinking, “But Equestria Girls universe is another world, and to get there you need the mirror.” Yes, in one instance you use the mirror to travel between time lines. Yes I said it time lines. “Time Lines?” Yes, truth is I actually thought the idea that the mirror transports you from one dimension to another doesn't make sense, but the idea of the mirror actually being a portal of time and space makes a little more sense. Okay, here is the reason I believe that Equestria and Canterlot High are not actually different dimensions, because the thing is if Canterlot High was part of another dimension Human Twilight would not actually exist if Pony Twilight entered the portal, and her friends names would actually be different. Best example I have of this is in the Doctor Who episode where Rose Tyler, Rose's Boyfriend, well ex-boyfriend, Micky. and the Doctor go to the London where Rose's father is still alive and Micky's name was changed to Ricky in the other dimension. Also Rose was a dog in that dimension. In the instance of Equestria Girls, Pony Twilight changed forms which actually means two things; that it is actually another dimension or that she traveled back in time and the portal changed her appearance because she shared the same biological trait as Human Twilight.

Now the idea of ponies being the experiments of Humans is possible. First is that Human Twilight actually detected the portal with a device that detects electrical current, known as an EM Detector. So the portal has a electrical current flowing through it. Okay you're thinking, “Electrical Current but how can that be if it is not plugged up?” You're right, but wireless electricity is still in its infancy. There was one person who actually almost perfected it and his name was Nikola Tesla. His invention was the Tesla Coil. Now since Twilight discovered the portal with an EM Detector; you would think she is the only one right? So who else could detect the strange energy signatures? Well that's the thing and it actually worries me. The one that would also detect the “Equestrian Magic” would be the Government. So if the Government caught the signal you bet they would show up to investigate. First, they will send agents to snoop around, and once the agents get evidence of the situation, then the Military moves in with Federal Agents, in the US it’s usually the FBI. Now the whole school would be quarantined and every student would be subjected to testing and experimentation.

Now, the Ponies being the product of government genetic splicing is now more plausible. First off, how would they harness the “magic” from the portal? I don't think it would take them very long to figure it out; besides, Twilight did it. Now the Experiments would actually have failures at first, example: the Smooze, Cockatrice, Hydra, and Bugbear. But as time goes by Pegasus and unicorns are made. Same with the Minotaurs, Griffins, and Changelings. But the Humans greatest experiment, was Alicorns. Now as more years go by Humans and the creatures that were made being called Equestrians are living together. But not in Harmony, the Equestrians are treated like second class citizens and begin to revolt against their creators, with the Alicorns leading the fight, but the humans try to keep them at bay, but there are more of them and a lot less humans. And after a war, that actually happened a thousand years ago or so, when the human went extinct. Now the ponies and other creatures will begin to live in harmony, but to keep the idea that humans didn't exist, the Princesses with Discord, Tirek and his brother Scorpan, Starswirl the bearded, King Sombra, and Queen Chrysalis got together to discuss how they would do it. The idea was to change the memories of every creature to memories of humans of never existing. Well after the spell was casted many ponies and creatures started to change in personality. And many of the villains we have now started fighting back and tried conquering Equestria. Oh, I almost forgot, the elements of harmony are actually the power conduit for Equestrian magic, and the look and style of the elements were actually from when the Elements energy as it was being stored. So the containment units actually change size and shape.This I believe is the True Dark History of Equestria.

Oh and one more thing that had bugged me for so long, How in the hell does Rainbow Dash know what a tank is? In the episode “May the best pet win” she gave her tortoise the name Tank. Her exact words were “He is built like a tank.” There are two conclusions i have come up with the first she read a book on Military weaponry and had a pic of probably a T-34, a Panzerkampfwagen VI A Tiger I, or a M4A3E2 Jumbo Sherman or the M4A1 Sherman, which were always the goto vehicles for anyone. And the second and most likely is that she flew over a field one day and saw a M1A2 TUSK 2 or a Leopard 2A6 or a T-90, Russian MBT made in 1999, or a T-80 destroyed and rusting and thought it was cool looking and had someone tell her what it was. Also my theory on celestia and luna wiping everypony's mind has almost become kinda canon.

Update: Okay all those who saw Season 6 Premier knows about a natural born Alicorn. We also see how Celestia and Luna don’t know why the new royal pony is an Alicorn giving my theory that Celestia and Luna had wiped their memories. Now the Hearth Warming Eve story is actually a side effect of the Memory Alteration Spell. Think about it Three Pony Clans constantly fighting each other causing windigos. Three Factions Fighting for control: One for freedom for all ponies and equestrians(Unicorns), One is the Military (Pegasi), and One wanting the world to be how it use to (Earth Ponies) and the Windigos are the representation of the war itself with no winners in site. But all that changes because of two Alicorns, Celestia and Luna. So the knowledge of a natural born Alicorn is new to even them.

Update 2: *Spoiler Warning* So just watched Equestria Girls Legend of Everfree, Awesome and funny. I was in stitches watching it. But now I am more convinced that Equestria Girls is a previous timeline from Equestria. Now you are asking but if the military picked up the magic, which was fluctuations at first until Rainbow Rocks and Friendship Games, how would they investigate without anyone knowing? And there lies the beauty we already had our first look at a spy and it was in Episode 100. So to get a good idea of what is going on how about in people to act like students. And that would be you ask is Lyra and Bon Bon or at least Bon Bon. “But wouldn’t people pick up on the idea they were working for the government?” Not exactly especially what has been going on lately. Humans are known to be oblivious of small changes in the environment when something big is happening and the small event can actually be happening right in front of them. As humans we are fascinated by bigger and better things or in this case we are scared of bigger and horrible things. Someone could of I don’t know slipped in without notice and even the audience wouldn’t have known.
