Top Ten's: Lyrical Sonic Themes

This is the main event, the actual countdown. I won't delay anymore, let's start.

Number 10
I Am All of Me (Shadow the Hedgehog)- Crush 40
Let's start off with a song from a game that does not star Sonic. I Am All of Me is a dark song for a game with guns and cursing. It follows Sonic logic, if the game sucks or in Shadow's case is bad, who cares the music will be awesome.

Number 9
Seven Rings in Hand (Sonic and the Secret Rings)- Steve Conte
This one, I don't have much to say about. Just listen and let's continue.

Number 8 TIE.
His World (Sonic '06)- Zebrahead
AND
Super Sonic Racing (Sonic R)- TJ Davis
Sonic (2006) just FUCKIN' SUCKS. But the soundtrack is amazing. His world and the instrumental version are great. The only reason this game is on this list is this song.
As for Super Sonic Racing, it is the only song in the entire track that makes sense for Sonic or racing. That is all that needs to be said.

Number 7
Knight of the Wind (Sonic and the Black Knight)- Crush 40
Another great song from Crush 40. This is the main theme of the game and I love it. I can't give it much justice so just listen. I though like others more than this.

Number 6
Catch Me if You Can (Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity) AndCatch Me if You Can (Sonic Riders)- Runblebee
I originally was going to only put the Zero Gravity version on here then I listened to the first version and it started to grow on me. That is why they are both at number 6. It is the theme for the Rogues in both games. I normally hate remixes, but in Zero Gravity, that is not true.

Number 5
Sonic Heroes (Sonic Heroes)- Crush 40
I love this song. It is upbeat and I like it. I don't know what else to say.

Number 4
Open Your Heart (Sonic Adventure)- Crush 40
How is this only at number 4, simple I have other songs I like more. With that said I love it. Awesome game and an awesome song. I can't say anything that the song can't, it speaks for itself.

Number 3 TIE
What I'm Made of (Sonic Heroes)- Crush 40
AND
Sonic Boom (Sonic CD) Intro- Pastiche
What can I say about Sonic Boom, I'm a sucker for classics. What I'm Made of is darker than the main theme and plays during the final boss. I love them but only for number 3. I originally had Sonic Heroes higher than this one, but the more I listened to them both I found I liked What I'm Made of more.

Number 2
Endless Possibility (Sonic Unleashed)- Jaret Reddick
Reddick is a member of Bowling for Soup. And this song is the most noteworthy of the Unleashed soundtrack. It is upbeat and fast- paced and I love it.

Number 1
Live and Learn (Sonic Adventure 2)- Crush 40
AND
Reach for the Stars (Sonic Colors)- Cash Cash
I put these together because they are from the two best games from the 3-D Sonic era, excluding Generations. Live and Learn is the best Crush 40 song. Reach for the Stars makes sense for Sonic and the game. Live and Learn is used for the final boss as well as the main theme. Reach for the Stars was remixed in the game, into an instrumental.
