Delay on next fic · 9:49pm Mar 21st, 2016
I was in a pretty bad car accident last night. For the most part, I’m alright. If you’re curious, the specifics are below. I’ll be in the hospital for the rest of the week, which means I won’t be able to get the next fic out as soon as I want it to be. I’ll definitely have it published within seven days. This blog post is just to say that, but I thought it would be best to have a reason why, instead of just “the next fic’s gonna take a while.”
So what did it do to me? Here’s the ones worth talking about:
-Broken left radius/ulna/humerus (And I’m left handed, too. I’ll need a sling for up to two weeks)
-Broken right kneecap (Worst injury. I’ll need crutches for a month)
-A lot of nightmares in the future
I guess it’s a good idea to say that I got the worst of the crash. Nobody died, which is good. Since I was a driver, I don’t think I could even live with myself if I killed anybody. There's more good news. I get to take a few paid weeks off from work.
Ow ow ow. Glad everyone's mostly OK, and hopefully you're not stuck with too much in the way of bills or insurance hassles.

The bills and insurance are probably going to be a bitch to deal with. My family's usually good with this kind of stuff, so I think we'll be fine with that. The worst so far is having to deal with the meds. They're great at killing pain, but they make me pretty dickish and scatterbrained. Just a couple more days, and I'll be done with the meds. Thanks for the comment and caring.
