I'm sorry that for the last few... months I've been neglecting updating this story-thing I had goin' on.
The reason for this is the black-writhing rage pit that has become my feelings towards FIMFICTION.
I recently read a crossover about GLaDOS arriving in Equestria, and rather enjoyed it.
Unfortunately it went on hiatus and hasn't updated.
I took matters into my own hands and began writing a new crossover, one that hopefully wasn't the festering dung-heap that is my first crossover (no really it's awful).
I approached it in a way that I thought was clever and refreshing, with a cynical protagonist who doesn't want to be a pony or be in Equestria going along with the enthusiasm of her mute companion (GLaDOS and Chell).
I actually checked for mistakes and added in a prologue for kicks, and to avert the 'now we're in Equestria' cesspool that plaques many stories (including the first one I admitted to this site).
I made a unique cover image in flash and spent time thinking out and developing the first couple of chapters.
When all was done and I was happy with the product I submitted it to the site.
That is when the week-long roller coaster of horror began its first jittery climb up the steep hill of my rage.
I filled out all the necessary data on the story submission form and clicked 'Add Story'.
The page did its normal loady-thing when you click it and I waited for it to finish.
The page reloaded and I looked down expecting it to still have all the information on the page and for the words'story added' to appear beside the 'Add Story'.
The boxes were blank, the data was gone, and the add story button had no words beside it.
I checked my stories to see if the story had been added, and it hadn't.
I re-did all the necessary steps again and clicked 'Add Story'.
Same results.
Re-did.
Same results.
Re-did over the course of several weeks.
Same result.
I would appreciate if anyone in the comments could tell me what's going on.
Now, my rant.
