Idea ramblings

I have been tossing around the idea of Big O in Equestria. So far, I have a few ideas on how it could be done, but I just don't have the skill to write something like that.

So I decided to put some of the more complete ideas here!

First one I want to put down would actually explain away the "everything bad happened to get sealed a thousand years ago" tendency with most of the big villains; there are no remaining physical records because one night, the world "ended," leaving behind a bunch of amnesiacs, lots of ruins, and a handful of beings who remember anything before that day who passed down the events as stories, because they didn't trust the actual events to ever be remembered. Essentially, the night of the Megadeus March from the series, just add 960 years to the distance between the horrible event and the story starting. Secondary to this idea, have it be the same night as Luna got banished.

Second idea, getting Big O and the other Megadeus' to Equestria. Unfortunately, the only idea I have about this is blame the destruction on them and have them just be there. Crappy, I know.

Now for the less solid ideas, mostly just alternating between is Roger Smith present, the form of ponies (anthro, human, or just normal ponies?), whether or not the EoH act as instant Megadeus granting or just "keys" to six special ones, if Roger is around, what position he holds, is there an R. Dorothy Wainwright and Norman (the butler) or not, and so on.

My personal idea is the world is anthro, the EoH make Megadeus' based on their bearers, Nightmare Moon has her own illusion based Megadeus, and Roger Smith is a former guard turned world level negotiator (maybe ageless?), and he is the pilot of Big O, the only one the big lug would accept.
