New Story Idea

Hey, everypony. So like the title says, I have a new story idea, and there's a couple of things I need to do first, one of which actually requires contacting a staff member to make sure that what this is about is going to be okay. I think it will be, but I'm going to contact them just in case.

So, basically what this story would be about, it would be a story actually based around the story told through music in the album "American Idiot" by Green Day. The album was classed as a "rock opera" and told a story about a young boy, known basically as Jesus of Suburbia (JoS for short) who doesn't want to be an American Idiot. He is the Jesus of Suburbia, his hometown, and eventually leaves to spread his wings and find who he really is outside of his hometown. Along the way, he meets fellow friends Saint Jimmy and Whatsername, and eventually, towards the end of the album, JoS is hurt when St. Jimmy runs off with Whatsername, who JoS had loved. He then returns to his hometown and lives out the rest of his days there, always remembering Whatsername's face, but never her name, and his experiences while he had travelled.

Now, like I said, the story is going to be based off of this whole "rock opera" story behind the entire album. There has never been a full story actually confirmed by Green Day or any of its band members (Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt, etc.), so this is simply my interpretation of the meanings behind all of the songs and behind the whole album itself. It does make a big impact, and I want to be able to write something based off of this entire album, as I think it would be incredibly cool to write. Like I said above though, I need to contact an admin and ask if that would be breaking any rules on the site first, so I will do that and then update you guys when I have an answer.
