Editation

How does one offer their services as an editor to people without implying that they need an editor?

I have a conundrum. I want to begin editing, it seems like something I would really enjoy and be good at, but I can't figure out how to tell people I'm not trying to suggest they specifically need an editor, while still getting the point across that I want to edit for them.
