I've been wandering around this site for a good amount of time now. Reading all sorts of interesting stories here(well, interesting to me any who), and I was wondering, is there any sort of advice anyone would have for some one to write something here?
I haven't written anything in a good long while, I mean, the last thing I wrote was a First person, thing, it's too short to be considered a chapter for a story in my opinion. That was posted to the net, in 2014, jeez, I don't think I could write anything good, in all honesty I don't think I could even write my way out of a paper bag, no one ever commented on anything of mine, except one person I know in RL and they usually enjoyed anything I did.
But, still, wouldn't hurt to dust off the old writing skills and attempt to write something, it shouldn't hurt to attempt something right? I mean, tis better to have tried than to not have tried at all. If anyone is reading these, do you have any advice for writing something? I'd gladly take any and all advice that may or may not be given.
Hmm, tis an interesting challenge you propose, so I'll try my best to give applicable advice. When I write the dialogue for the characters in my stories, I always try to get inside the characters head. I ask myself to try to think about what the character I'm writing about would say if they were in the situation I put them in.
