Indoor temperature:
It maintains at 22-28 degrees. Relative humidity maintains 40% - 60%. breeding temperature in the box is 1 ~ 2℃ higher than the general external environment. Humidity is 5 ~ 10% higher. Day&night light&shade alternate time is 12 / 12. Noise < 60dB. Ammonia concentration is less than 20ppm. Ventilation frequency should reach 10 to 20 times per hour. Two hours disinfection regularly with disinfectant for cleaning and disinfection in breeding indoor.
Breeding:
Sterilization full price of nutrients of 60Co gamma ray are needed, and a small amount of sunflower seeds are fed. Intake of adult transgenic mice is generally 3 ~ 7 g / day, transgenic pups generally 1 ~ 3 g / day, weekly material adding 3 ~ 4 times. In squirrel cage hopper internal, there are should enough amount of fresh and dry feed. In transgenic mice crowd, adding feed on fixed two day per week. Other time, it can pay attention to add according to situation at any time.
Drinking water:
Pure water is dealt by autoclaving. Changing the water 2 ~ 3 times/week. Water Intake of adult rat is generally 4 to 7ml/ day to ensure drinking water continuously. The cork should be always checked to prevent stopper leakage causing to animals drowning or drinking water pipe blocking that the mice may die of dehydration.
Cushion material:
The use of autoclaved sawdust or corncob. Cage should be M5 mouse cage with high pressure sterilization. Mouse cage and bedding are replaced two times a week. All operations are carried out in the ultra clean table according to the aseptic operation.
Daily registration and observation:
The environmental data and the status of mice is registered daily. Closely observing the diet, activities and the whole body of mice. If there is abnormal condition, it needs to be checked for registration.
For breeding transgenic mice which will be used in the experiment, if there are no special physical defects (such as nutritional deficiency, immune deficiency type, etc.), the feeding standard of common mice can be used.
