What Happened

Hello Everypony

Well...I don't really know what to say other than how unbelievably sorry I am. I haven't been slacking off this past month, but everything that could possibly go wrong went wrong. While there is no excuse for this incredibly long hiatus between chapters, there are many reasons why Chapter 4 has still yet to be put up.

First of all, It was the holidays and I have always been very busy around that time, but still doesn't excuse the month's long hiatus. However, the second thing is that my laptop, got...well...messed up, to say the least. 3 different viruses that rendered my computer unusable. The 3rd one leaving me with out computer for 6 DAYS. I got it all worked out, but dang, it was pretty bad. The 3rd reason is school. Christmas break slammed me with projects and reports and its been hard to keep up. 4th, is that while I was writing for a LONG period of time and almost finished the chapter, my computer had to restart and I lost about 60% of the completed chapter. I broke a glass, on purpose, due to the absolute fury I was experiencing. And the 5th thing and the second topic for this blog, I was reconsidering the path I was taking with this story. Writing a story about action is frustratingly difficult, and I am trying to rely on story and characters when I know that in later chapters, I am gonna be writing extremely long fighting sequences that are gonna be near impossible to describe while still being fast and entertaining. What I'm trying to say is that I am trying to find the real theme I want this story to follow. I also can't write Ruby to save my life, so there's that to. I will finish this story, and Chapter 4: The Message is SO CLOSE to being done. I just need to think about the bigger picture a little bit longer. That being said I happily announce that the next chapter will be out by next weekend. Just need to add the finishing touches.
However, there is one last thing that I need to announce. While thinking about RWBY: Shadows of Our Past, I came up with a new way to write a story that I wanted to write from the beginning. A story that I am beyond passionate about and one that will take a LONG while to fully complete. This story is a crossover with my favorite game of all time... Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. It will be a non-official sequel to Turnabout Storm, and will be not 1, 2, 3, or 4, but 5 FULL cases involving our lovable lawyer. That's all I'm giving away for now, and I am also happy to announce that a there will be a exert from the story released IMMEDIATLY after Chapter 4 of my current story.
