The story finally has a title, Frank's Adventure (no, it's not related to that game, you know who you are...) and here's how it'll work.
This story will have an alternate universe tag and why, cause in this EQG universe, Sunset Shimmer does NOT exist, therefore the events that took place before the first EQG movie never happened. Now I know what you're thinking "What? Has this person gone crazy?" No I am perfectly normal...ish.
Secondly, it's going to be comment-driven like Mane Six vs. Technology, but there's another reason. This story will have not one, but five different endings and each ending is to do with the five girls Frank will become friends with.
There will be one progression level for each girl, which is affection. Affection is how much each of them like Frank outside of their studying hours. The higher the affection, the more that they like him. The affection progress is measured by percentages and whenever Franks visits a location with one of the girls, he learns more about them and they learn more about him in return and this raises the affection progress by 5%.
The Affection progress is built over time and does not reset. Throughout the academic year, Frank will have plenty of chances to raise the affection levels for each of the girls and some of the choices he has to make may substantially boost a girl's affection level. When it's the day before Prom Night, three of the five girls who like him the most will nominate themselves to be his date.
Finally, between each chapter there will be a free-roam segment where your comments will come in. Each free-roam segment will be slightly different and all parts of the school are sorted into locations. Locations that are marked as "open" are places Frank can visit and sometimes, there may be one or more of the girls in the same room. Locations that are "closed" are places that he cannot go to. As the story progresses, more locations beyond the school grounds will become available.
However, there is one big catch. Frank only has six chances available to visit an open room before he has to attend to his classroom sessions. During the lunch hour, Frank will have 30 minutes to spend and each room Frank visits, uses up 5 minutes.
