Okay, so yesterday at school, a classmate did a stupid trick on my friend: they shoved a hat over his face to get a laugh. My friend snapped (I partially know why, but not everyone does). He was practically trying to kill them, and I was the only one that made it so they didn't get mauled.
So there I am, defending a person against my friend. Plus, I was the only f---ing one to go to that little fight!
By the way, my friend is very aggressive, and usually when you do anything to counter him, verbally or physically, he'll reply physically. He has an annoying older brother that causes him to act angry (that's all I'm saying).
There I am, counting him no less, and trying to calm him down. "Jack, it's okay. It's okay. Jack. Jack."
But the thing is, he doesn't counter me like he would with anybody else. He sits down and puts his head between his knees with his hands on his hair.

After that, all I could think about is how he didn't get angry at me. He would've done it with anyone else, friend or not!
Why... Why didn't he counter me like he would've with anyone else? What is it about me that makes him treat me differently?
Also, something similar has happened before at a pool party. Something happened (can't remember) that he had gotten angry, and I had been the only one able to approach him without him swimming away. I was the only one able to communicate, in any way, with him.
Why? Why me? What makes me so different from everyone else? I just don't understand! Is it my personality, presence? I'll even consider aura, and I don't understand how that crap even works.
