Weapons of Harmony Basics

Alright, I did some tinkering, edited this, and fixed that. After all of the work I did, I'm quite pleased with how it's looking. So I'll provide a basic outline of what's happening and how the 'Universe' works. So, without further a due, let's begin.

We'll start with the three main characters, of course, where else would you start? Don't answer that.
Twilight Sparkle - The Element of magic and a defeatist. She blames herself for letting the Sirens take over CHS and the mirror world (is that what people call it, or does it have an official name?). She wears a typical school girl outfit; skirt, shirt, overcoat, longer than necessary socks, and heeled shoes. Twilight may be an Element of Harmony, but that doesn't mean she's cut out for the distopia she finds herself in. She prefers the ambassador method of fighting, rather than all out attacking. Her Harmonic weapon is a staff that, if need be, can extend and segment itself to defeat attackers.
Sunset Shimmer - She may not be an element, but she's still the leader of the resistance. Sunset feels sorry for Twilight and tries her best to help her through the abuse she gets for abandoning the school. Sunset wears a leather jacket, fire colored skirt, and thigh high black boots. While she tries to be diplomatic, she isn't afraid to go into a battle guns blazing. Her weapon of choice is a special sword that can shoot off the blade for long range strike. Sunset is your typical hopeful romantic, trying to fix everything and improve the world in the process.
Rainbow Dash - Fractured element of loyalty. She used to be completely loyal to Twilight and her friends, but when Twilight ran away from them and the Sirens took over her loyalty snapped. Now she's only looking out for herself and blames the entire collapse of the school and the rest of the world on Twilight. She wears a jean jacket, white t-shirt, striped skirt, rainbow socks, and knee high blue boots. Rainbow is an excellent fighter, and an even better marksman. She learned how to use he Harmonic weapon faster than the others. She prefers to use her weapon ask a sniper rifle, but she isn't afraid to use her vambrace blades should she need to. She's your typical vengeful nightmare, always on her own and threatening everything that comes near her. She also wastes no time in making Twilight feel bad for abandoning her friends.
Onto the setting(s).
Canterlot Highschool (CHS) and the nearby towns. (Easy enough).
Last but not least, the Theme(s) of the story.
The primary theme is despair. The secondary theme is hope, and the minor themes consist of fear, loss, hatred, despair, and renewal.
