This is how I write stories... · 1:31am Aug 13th, 2012
I know how I want it to start, and I know what the major conflict/driving element is. I probably also know what characters I want in it, too.
Then, I listen to A LOT of music, so that I can get find a song which fits well with how I feel the story will be like. (multiple songs then influence many a chapter).
Then I think of how I want it to end.
Then, I write a whole lot of BS on the spot, barely thinking of what I am doing, except for deciding how I think the chosen characters might react to the situation I have set-up for them, hopefully aiming towards the kind of ending I have planned out.
Sometimes, midway through, I feel that the direction is not heading towards my planned ending, and I just BS my way throgh the story. Literally, like, no joke.
Then...I add a twist. I just don't like obvious closure. I do like closure, don't get me wrong, but I also want to leave everyone thinking: "Wait, but what about...?" So I leave hints through the entire story which would explain just that. So that way, fort ode attentative enough, everything becomes clear.
Bottom line: I BS all my stories, then leave you confused. :D
right, okay then...thank you...or something...?dl.dropbox.com/u/31471793/FiMFiction/emoticons/sillyfilly_Twilight_Sparkle.png
