Story Review: Moonlit Battles at Pegasus Falls · 2:54am Nov 2nd, 2015
Hey there, and welcome to my first story review! This one is by my good friend CowgirlVK, and she has given me permission to write this. I'm not going to go into the whole thing, because this is a story you should read in detail, so I'm going to summarize! So without further ado, let's get on with it!
The story begins with a bat pony mare named Sonydong Song (Is she royalty, 'cause dang!). She's having chill-time on a cliff, and it sounds like she's been there for quite a while. Literally nopony comes out to she what she's doing, to my surprise, so the grandma sends out Sony's little cousin instead. Thanks a bunch, grandma. The little cousin, known as Songbird, happens to be a regular pegasus pony, which is interesting. But she's a second cousin, so I guess that's okay.
After a friendly cousinly banter between the two, Sony decides that now is the time to fill Songbird in on the story of Luna's banishment, which is pretty entertaining, especially when Songbird interrupts
I like how Sony doesn't sugarcoat everything for her little cousin when she explains a certain war that happened years and years ago. I mean...you can't sugarcoat war, but Sony does give her the grim details and after affects of battle, which was pretty nice...well not nice, but you know what I mean
Now, this is a chapter story, so this is all one chapter, and you should totally give it a read. Things are just beginning. Oh, and spoiler alert...Grandma sends out one cousin to find the other, and doesn't come back in less than five minutes...NO PONY IS THE LEAST BIT CONCERNED??? Grandma...where you at?
So this is a good read, well written, correct spelling, I recommend it. You can read it here! And this is my first experience with Bat Ponies, how bout that? Good night, everybody!
Grandma is a unicorn that can't teleport.
And, the rest of Songbird's story will be in Motivation. Coming out this winter.
