It's been a crazy few weeks… · 9:48pm Sep 11th, 2015

Hey everypony, I apologize for my absence of recently. Things have been crazy in my life these past few weeks.

My grandfather went into the hospital with severe dehydration and a septic infection, which were taken care of and he was released a few days ago. But sadly, he has been diagnosed with colon cancer. He has decided to live with it instead of undergoing treatment because he is about to turn 96 years old, and at this point in his life, it would be easier than going through chemo or radiation.

But with his strength and attitude, no one in my family will be surprised if he lives to be 100. He has already survived leukemia and prostate cancer, heart attack, triple bypass surgery, and bouts of pneumonia and bronchitis.

So, if there is one thing we can be sure of, it's that he is an incredibly strong and somewhat stubborn man that will not give up.

I have also been diagnosed with mild carpal tunnel, a mild sprain, and possible arthritis – all in my right wrist. Given all of that, I'm not supposed to use my computer very much for the Time being. So right now, I am relaxing on the couch with my phone.

I fell a few weeks ago, and whacked my head pretty darn hard on my nightstand. Not only did I have a severe concussion, but I am still dealing with headaches and because of that, I had a CT scan a couple days ago. I got the results today, and fortunately everything is fine. I still have a brain (LOL!), it is still attached to my brainstem – not flopping around freestyle – I am just healing from a severe concussion still.
