The Group Dedicated To Doing Whatever I Want Whenever I Want - the worst group I have been on (and unfortunately the first group I ever joined) is pretty much the worst place I have experienced so far on this site. Obviously there must be worse, I haven't even been here a week. But so far this does seem to be the worst place to go.

For stories it helps show how good it is or how much it sucks. As each person has different options this means ones with high votes are good with good story telling and possibly grammar and dowmvotes as terribly written.
Also the ratio of good to bad is shown with said votes.
On comments it's because they agree disagree or you pissed them off. A world of warning though don't make enemies and if you see strings of dowmvotes Dispite it being good remember there are haters and those who you made enemies.
