Encouraging Word of the Week 4: Hate · 12:49pm Sep 8th, 2015
This is copied and pasted from something I said to a friend of mine. He's going through some hard times. He feels like everyone hates him, and he's starting to believe their lies that he's worthless. His name's LightingSword, and if you guys can think about him for me, that'd be awesome.
There will always be people to hate you. People to hate me, to hate all of us. As I have long ago come to realize, that's just a part of life. There will always be darkness. There will always be evil. That darkness wants to destroy everything that is good, that is light. It has dedicated itself entirely to this cause.
Life has taught me, personally, something else. Something I want to tell you, Lightning, and anyone else reading this. That light is good. If hate, if darkness has come for you, you can know that says the exact opposite about you that you think it does. You are good. You are the light that burns inside someone. It's okay for people to hate you, to have enemies, because you can know that means you've done something good. You have loved, and are loved. And you can change this world.
I hope this helps.
