Is this truly what we've come to? · 5:31pm Sep 4th, 2015
Hey, friends. I was just at school the other day and something happened that I thought I should share my thoughts about. I was walking down the hallway to lunch and some people behind me were talking. Now I know what that sounds like already, but it was this line only that I remember:
"If he doesn't care about me, I don't care about him."
Let me ask you something friends. Is this truly what we've come to? After love has carried society so far, after hate has countless times proven (as in WWII) its destruction, have we truly become so selfish as this? That we only love our brother so far as they love us? Has our society truly degraded to this magnitude?
I apologize if I'm overreacting. I'm just a little brokenhearted to hear that is all. I hope you may be too. That's a good sign.
What do you think?

It is sad, I mean look at our own fandom. It started to bring such beauty then others came to try and use it to spread perversion and hate....
Sometimes the fight seems hopeless.
3369717 I agree. So many of our fandom give bronies the bad name outsiders know us by . . . sometimes I fear it is true.
That's why I do this. Have hope, mon ami. The night is darkest just before the dawn.
