I'm retiring from FF. There's no particular reason why; I'm not upset or depressed or anything, nor have I lost the desire to write, but ... I just don't think I have anything to offer this place that is unique.

...Great. Just when I find one of the very rare people who can actually write Rainbow properly this happens.

Oh well, you do what you need to do and feel free to come back if the mood strikes you. After all, you do not have to be writing anything unique to polish your skills or give us some entertainment and this is generally a safe place to experiment.

Alternatively, if you want an idea for something unusual so you have something unique to write about, you could try your hand at a story where Rainbow accidentally reveals a changeling significantly before the invasion and befriends him/her which leaves her loyalty divided for some really interesting results. I did a ton of work on changelings that I can throw your way if you want a head start on the world building, just let me know and I'll PM it to you.
