Encouraging Word of the Week 2: There is a plan. · 12:41pm Aug 25th, 2015

One thing that I've definitely learned from the hard times that have come my way is this: Often when things look like they're falling apart, they're actually falling into place. There is a plan in everything that happens. Do you really believe you're an accident? That you picked here and now to happen because two people fell in love once upon a time? That you're nothing but a biproduct of biology, without a destiny or any resemblance of lasting impact?

No.

There is a plan in everything. Trust it.

Religious type I take it friend?

3346962 Wow, I didn't think I was that obvious... :twilightoops:

3346962 See, THIS is my problem.

Can you tell I'm not professionally trained on some anti-suicide committee? That I'm not always . . . good at this? I just want to make people feel better about themselves. :pinkiesad2: See, I've had more than my share of close scrapes with self-esteem and depression and even suicide. I wish that on no one, and here and now I've decided that I've had enough of it. Not just in me, but in this world. Too many lives are lost, physically and emotionally, simply to feeling bad about themselves. Feeling like they don't have any potential. Someone has to do something, and I refuse to not be one of those people.

The thing is, I guess I don't believe in the little things to work. Just a compliment or a simple hug . . . I know when I was at my low that wouldn't have changed anything. A spark doesn't bring light to a cavern. At least it doesn't in my brain. I guess it doesn't click in my mind that something so small can bring someone, quite literally, back to life. My mind says that's wrong and I have to keep telling myself that's not true. A compliment can mean universes to someone. A hug can save a life. I've even heard stories of that kind of stuff in action. But on the front lines the little things fade away to me. I guess my instincts go to the big guns. Like, well, religion.

. . . Yeah, I'll work on that . . . apologies . . .

Nothing wrong with being religious hun never be ashamed of it.
