In the episode, Not What He Seems, we find out that Stan has a twin brother named Stanley and is the author of the journals. Now, it has been speculated that Stan had a twin brother since the very beginning of the show. So, when it was revealed that the whole speculation was true, a lot of people freaked out.
Later, in the next episode, A Tale of Two Stans, we got to find out more of the brother's past and the reason why Stanley wrote the journals. We also found out why Old Man McGucket is so crazy, due to the portal and The Blind Eye erasing his memories.
So, tell me, how did you react at the end of the episode, Not What he Seems? Were you surprised? Shocked? Or did you know all along?
