My and my stepbrother's first full meteor shower!

YAAAAAAAAAAAY! Last night was GREAT! And better-than-cake great, if that's even possible!oh my god I'm so excited to tell you!!!!

Last night, okay? Was me and my stepbrother's very first full meteor shower. In fact, I had only seen one "shooting star" before. In fact, shooting stars aren't even stars! They're comets and meteors, and they're basically big rocks that reach a non-gravitational point in our atmosphere and start to fall, reaching very high speeds and--

I could tell you about shooting stars, meteors and comets all day. Okay. I'll leave you alone after one more fact. A tail on a comet or meteor isn't really a tail. It's a long string of fire behind the ginormous rock as it falls faster and faster, it can be short or long depending on how fast it's going. Okay. I'll leave you alone now.
