Hello every bronies, my name is Crimson Rose. Today for my very first review, I shall be reviewing and analyzing one of my first fan animations I have first seen a couple of years ago. And now I can finally make that review. Now, from the title, you can probably guess what it is. That's right, I'm reviewing A Tale of One Shadow by NatashiaSolitude *grabs a jacket because it is very cold from the feels* Okie dokie, ready set, hang on to your plushies and lets go!

Okay! We start off with Good Sombra facing a lake somewhere like over a thousand years ago. Still Alive came in to play, I love this song. *sings"Ooh I'm still alive, I'm still alive and I cannot apologize no!"* You know, seeing Sombra in this good form, and how what I can tell that the Crystal Empire already covered and snow and unhappiness, it would seem that the crystal heart was already taken from them. See ya'll! Sombra didn't take the heart so all ya'll crystal ponies can shut up...I'm gonna eat those words aren't I?

Anyway, mare was running across the frozen tundra (without any warm clothes to wear. I know ponies usually unclothed but it has to be below zero, she could at least wear a fuzzy Russian hat or something). Sombra turns around and sees the mare (whom I just realized that mare was in the Crystal Empire Episode, when Twilight asked her about what she remember about the evil tyrant.) Sombra sees her and offers her his scarf like a true gentle-colt. That is actually very sweet. AW!! *Goes to hug Sombra, sees him glaring at me and slowly scoots away* Sorry! Why can't other colts be that gentlemanly!?

So we cut to the Crystal Library with our dark hero researching in the dark, Sombra, I do hope you'll find something, or otherwise the Crystal Empire will never feel happy again! Anyway, Sombra finds a page of a unicorn in power above every pony else with dark magic. In my mind, the pony who stole the heart in the first place hid it in a place where only shadows can find it. I generally don't think Sombra in this video wanted power. I think he was just so desperate to save the empire that he'll go into grave lengths to find their sacred relic of pure love and happiness. He tests out the spell...and already things went from bad to hell storm the second he used that spell. He released his shadow but his shadow had no good inside of it.

What if...our shadows are actually the opposite of us. Think about it, if Twilight Sparkle used that spell with her alicorn magic, the end of Equestria as we know it! All that raw magic use for evil, Shadow Twilight would be terrible...which reminds me *leaves quickly to Twilight's library, finds the spell book, take the shadow spell out and ate it and comes back* Sorry. Man I hope I don't get bad indigestion from that. So Anyway, Good Sombra tracks down his shadow to the lake we saw at the beginning and holding the Crystal Heart. We have a stand off between to stallions. The faith of the Crystal Empire rests on this encounter. But...with all Sombra tries, he fell into the frozen lake before he had the chance to teleport out of danger. We see his own shadow pulling him down further into the water and then drowning him. OH GOD THE FEELS! The pain of seeing a hero die! *freezes when seeing Shadow taking control* What...? No way....Jekyll and Hyde effect! But in a bad way. 'Cause it seems that Jekyll died and Hyde took control..and...*sees the mare from the beginning standing there* Ooh.....was she there this whole time! Girl you better gallop your flank out of there!

We see the now Evil Sombra levitating out of the frozen lake. Immediately taking from that tragic scene to hell. Seeing Sombra putting on his armor and enslaving the ponies there. WTF!!!! This is unex- *gets hit by Boneless* Okay, okay i'm overreacting!

Okay, I'm just nick picking the details that were in the video. This video rocks! I love the setting, control wise. It had a good pace rate, the song was great. It made Sombra a good guy and gave him a backstory. I give this video ten out of ten for my first review. Leave your comments below and ask me what you want me to review next.
